Kaitlin, the face behind Wild Honey Media
Born in country Victoria, I relocated to Newcastle in search of a sea change, new opportunities and experiences. It was here, on the sunny east coast, somewhere between the sea breeze and city lights, that Wild Honey Media was born.
Growing up, I spent much of my time reading and writing stories. It wasn’t until I was gifted a small pink disposable camera that I ventured beyond the pages, discovering the world of visual storytelling.

I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Media and Communication at the University of Newcastle and have been privileged to work in their Student Communications team, honing and developing my creative skills.
Inspired by Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York, I combined my love for connection and storytelling to share students’ voices through Your Stories, which focused on students lives, university experiences, challenges and passions. I also co-host The Know Podcast with the Student Communications team, sharing tips, advice and stories from students across the university.

This website is my creative outlet, a space to showcase my visual and written works. Wild Honey Media is about capturing the essence of humanity, creating art, celebrating sexuality and empowering others. One story at a time.
